iOS and Android apps

Halal zawaj, in your pocket

Nikah has a native app on iPhone and Android. Same profiles, same human moderation, same rules: whatever you do on the website you do on your phone, with notifications on top.

What the app adds

Notifications at the right moment

A request received, a reply to your message, a profile approved: you are told without having to come back and check.

Mouqabalah over video

The supervised interview takes place inside the app, with three participants, the guardian invited by link. Nothing else to install.

One exchange at a time

The rule of the website is the rule of the app: no parallel conversations, no collecting contacts.

Photo free, by design

No profile photos, on any surface. What we show is what the person says about themselves.

The same guarantees as on the website

Every profile read by a human

No profile appears without passing our team first. Median moderation time is two minutes.

The guardian involved

Sisters register their wali, who can follow the introduction from the very first message.

Free for sisters

Registration and profile creation are free for everyone. Sisters use Nikah without a subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Nikah app free?

Downloading, registering and creating a profile are free. Sisters use Nikah free of charge; brothers take out a subscription to initiate an introduction.

Do I need a separate account from the website?

No. It is the same account and the same profile. You can start in the browser and continue on your phone, or the other way round.

Are there profile photos in the app?

No, and there will not be. Nikah is photo free by design: the written presentation, the criteria and religious practice stand in for a profile picture.

Can the guardian use the app?

The guardian is invited through a dedicated link and follows the exchange without creating an account. For the video mouqabalah, they join the interview from that same link.
